Yes, yes! Finally! Before I bought this beautiful laptop briefcase and found that the 17.3 inch laptop doesn't fit. I was so sad. I don't know if my comments along with others made me resize to accommodate laptops of this size. My laptop is a monster of my thickness so it won't fit in a bag meant for laptops, but it will still fit comfortably in the main compartment of a briefcase. However, the seams are not the same as in the previous version; he has no "cotton" for his eyes. This is just an observation, not a negative criticism. I assume the new line is stronger than the previous one. The leather is definitely thick and will last a long time. This is a beautiful leather briefcase. I can highly recommend the purchase.
