Cleaning is quite tedious because the avocado gets caught between the slices. The pieces don't come out clean either, so you'll end up with crumpled or cracked panes anyway. It took Pitter a few tries to get it working properly, and it seems more dangerous than just using a sharp knife to pull out the core. one try. It also doesn't work well with less ripe avocados, but it also doesn't work well with overripe avocados since they just turn to mush. Pretty good overall, much easier to use a knife. Since I have it, I'll probably use it from time to time, but it's not really what it needs.
