My gs73vr has been making such a grinding noise for a week that I didn't even want to use my laptop. After disassembling and cleaning the laptop, I realized I needed to buy a new fan. I stumbled across this and when I ordered it it arrived about a month after ordering. Everything went well and there were no problems assembling. The only problem I had was when assembling the laptop I noticed a tiny piece of cardboard inside the fan and when I tried to pull it out it landed in the fan making a small noise. The noise went away after a week of use and now the fan runs like clockwork.
