This stand is perfect if you know the secret to quick and easy bike assembly. Here it is: For the first time, think of another way to secure the bike while setting up the stand for the first time. Gently tug on each side. Lean the bike against you and use the kickstand each time. Using both hands, rotate the stand so that it is parallel to the ground (not vertical when in the normal position) and place the stand on the rear axle. Then loosen the kickstand, slowly lift the rear wheel of the bike slightly off the ground, and let the kickstand slide underneath and lower to the ground. Lift the bike slightly and let go. ready! Sounds like a lot, but it's really easy once you try. I use this method to securely store my bike every day when I get home from work and I usually get this method right on the first try. My bike has a rack, fenders and stays and the thing still sits snugly on the axle. I can even operate the rear derailleur normally.
