Using an 8" balancer and an aluminum timing case cover this pointer didn't clean the balancer properly and was useless for my build, although with a factory or stamped steel timing case it would probably fit just fine, so beware of that. I will probably use it in another build in the future. I still give 5 stars for the good workmanship. It's not the product's fault, although perhaps they could have indicated in the description that it was specifically the stamped cover and not the thicker cast aluminum that would be in the balancer linkage.
