Review on Enhanced Driving Experience: Pioneer AppRadio Video in Motion Interface with MicroBypass Parking Brake Switch by Adam Shuler

Works perfectly with Pioneer Appradio 4 (SPH-DA120)

I recently bought a Pioneer Appradio 4 (SPH-DA120). My car is a Nissan Versa and it's very difficult to get to the parking brake cable so I wanted a workaround so I could basically download the firmware and be fully functional without having to connect the parking brake. (Note that I don't watch videos in my car, so I don't consider this a safety issue when going around). I did some research and just didn't want to go through the toggle switch and I understand that Pioneer now requires a dual parking brake on/off sequence. This device mimics this action, is easy to install (color-coded wires) and small. fiddling with the radio and wiring) and the price was good. A comment here said they think it's overpriced. I do not agree. Bosch relays, toggle switches, fixtures and wiring plus time will cost you more and be less functional. Heck, removing my console to get to the parking brake would take longer than this unit is worth. So I think it's great value for money. My radio is fully functional with this device. I think it's good value for money.
