Review on Dorman 918-301 Power Steering Cooler: Optimal Performance for Cadillac/Chevrolet/GMC Models by Ahmed Jackson

This seems sturdy and was fairly easy to install after removing the headlight assembly. However, based on other reviews, here's what I did before installing it. 1. Apply primer to all exposed metal tubing except fins. My original failed when the tube rusted. 2. The supplied clamps are cheap. I replaced the two clamps at the end of the motor with clamps from the original. 3. I tightened the two zip ties on the end of the cooler to secure it as they were loose and could leak. One of them broke while putting it on so I replaced it. It may make sense to replace both with quality clamps from the parts store. Finally, I took a closer look at the rubber hoses and compared them with the hoses on my original. They've done well so I expect they'll keep up, but I won't know until the summer driving season when they're under the most pressure.
