Review on πŸ”Š Enhance Audio Experience with Mini Stereo Line Level Booster Amplifier Preamp - 20dB Gain & Volume Control by Edwin Kreps

Revainrating 4 out of 5

My withdrawal issue has been resolved.

Use case: I have a Lumin D2 that I balance directly with Elac Navis ARF 51 actives. I connect an unbalanced R and L to my Martin Logan Dynamo 1100X subwoofer. Power was low and the subwoofer was barely audible even at full amplification. Review: This helped boost the signal from the Lumin to the subwoofer 100%. It was very easy to connect. I now have complete control over subwoofer volume and the extra boost I need without a dedicated subwoofer output on Lumin. Dislikes: For the price, this thing doesn't seem premium. We'll see how it holds up and how the quality/signal/sound holds up over time. This is the only reason for the lack of an asterisk. Conclusion: If you use the input signal for your loudspeakers/subwoofer/etc. need to reinforce, this helps. There are other less expensive options that do the same. It might be better to use others if your use case requires more than one device.

Pros
  • Multiple I/O Interfaces: With 3.5mm AUX/Stereo RCA/5DIN inputs and RCA/5DIN stereo outputs, can work with most low volume audio sources such as iPod, iPad, phone, TV, MP3 player compatible. portable CD players, computers, video games, etc., increasing their output to the level required to drive the amplifier or speakers.
