I've been interested in double folds for the last few years and am considering switching back to tri folds. I've never liked carrying my wallet in my back pocket because the front pocket is larger and more convenient. Bifolds are attractive in that they tend to be flatter than their triple counterparts. But now that I'm carrying a few cards around, my bifold fills up pretty quickly. I had an epiphany when it comes to trifolding. They are thicker than doubles only when each of them is empty. Once you start filling the empty tri-fold it will be a bit bulkier, while once you start filling the empty double-fold the difference in thickness will be quite significant. In my opinion this is the perfect wallet if you are going from double to triple. Sizes are smaller than the average trifold. The skin is soft, elastic, good quality. The ID window is a vertical slot, just like card slots. Cut-out thumb hole for easy access to ID. There are 6 card slots, 2 additional slots, 2 bill slots and the aforementioned ID window, which by the way is very transparent.
