I think this type of phone mount is great for cycling as there are no additional parts to attach to your phone to work - you just clamp the Silicone bands around the top and bottom of the phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy s6 and my phone fits, although I felt the straps were a little tight and stretched to accommodate my phone (which is smaller than many newer phones). My phone stayed tidy throughout my trip and I had no issues. However, I haven't had a mount/attachment for a very long time so I don't know if the straps will loosen or possibly break in the future if they are too tight. That's why I gave the mount 4 stars and not 5 - it was hard to believe it would hold up to heavy use over time, but I just have to learn. For now the mount will stay on my bike and I will continue to appreciate it.
