Great RAM Upgrade for 13 " MacBook Pro Mid 2012 (Non-Retina Display)

If you want to breathe new life into your slow Mid 2012 MacBook, add these memory modules and then the SSD. I have Bought 12 of these memory cards to upgrade a total of 6 13" MacBook Pros (no retina displays) from 4GB to 16GB each for teachers at my school in mid 2012. The price was very reasonable with Prime delivery within 2 days .Cards arrived quickly, wrapped in anti-static foil with plenty of bubble wrap and spacers.Installation was easy (I used a grounded wrist strap to minimize the risk of static damage.) One of the cards was DOA but the return was for a New module was quick and easy thanks to Revain's returns process. Great product, good price, great customer service! Good news: staff have complained about how unbearable I slowly got older laptops. I expected a 4x increase in RAM to significantly reduce this issue and I wasn't disappointed. Everything opens faster, and the "spinning beach ball" only pops up briefly every now and then. Next step: Install SSDs to complete the turbo on these Macs. I installed a 500GB SSD as a test, and the memory upgrade along with the SSD turned the Mac into a fast, practically new machine. It was a fraction of the price of a new Mac (only about $135 to upgrade a Mac with SSD and RAM). I look forward to adding an SSD to the other five Macs! Added note: Instructions for installing RAM and SSD can be found online. Also, I did not receive any compensation for writing this review.
