I'm also seriously annoyed by what appears to be a 'feature' of this product and the fact that I don't pay due attention to reviews I listen to quiet music (Spotify Deep Focus, Hearts of Space, even Cannon in D) during operating hours. This type of music can have lower volume segments (dynamic range?). This speaker turns off when the sound becomes too quiet. Updated drivers, searched the net, etc., etc., etc. For free. I went into windows sound settings where the bar shows the sound is coming from the sound card but the speaker is "black". In desperation I returned here and found (should have listened) similar complaints. Then he started, uh, "monkey". The answer seems to be to turn up the volume on the soundcard (that's how it yells at the soundbar) and then use the remote or buttons to lower the speaker volume to a more acceptable level. Then the final control is done with the slider in Spotify. I will say after my 2 or 3 hours of googling that this is a problem with many of these bars.
