Love the colour. I like durability. This is a good solid item. Good for chopping meat or potatoes. I use this in my dutch oven for pureeing and it works great without scratching the surface or chipping the coating. It's really great with heat resistance. Haven't noticed any heat issues. I would give this product 5 stars if it didn't have that tiny notch all the way down between the "shoulders" where they all intersect at the top, there is a small notch/hole in the material. He has the uncanny ability to pick up a well-stocked bundle of whatever you just crushed. And necessarily, since it is located in the part exposed to the strongest mash. I'll just take a toothpick or the point of a knife and scoop out a piece, or use a lot of pressure on the sink to pull it out each time, but that's pretty crude. If you just throw it straight into the dishwasher or don't notice that little speck, it can form into a pretty potent piece of rotten food, very small but very rough in the case of raw meat. The color is so beautiful, I wish all my dishes were like that. This is a great masher, would be the perfect masher if it wasn't for the tiny indentation to catch food. Using versus notching is worth a little effort. I would still buy again
