This item rotates when you connect it to the vacuum cleaner, but as soon as it touches the surface the brush stops rotating and the suction almost stops because the impeller that drives the brush also stops and presents an obstacle that prevents air flow. I use this on a Bissell vacuum which doesn't mean I don't use it on the product it's intended for. The original turbo brush that came with the vacuum worked great and I hoped it would make a good replacement. I would have returned it but we never got to use it until the return window closed. Save your money and don't buy this product.
