Handy little device

Very handy little device. Easy to use. It has the bristles of the brush that stick out over the frame, although I think they could do with it a bit more. I ordered this because the wide version had bristles that didn't extend past the frame.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Do not buy. in Vacuum Cleaners and Floor Care

This OEM product will NOT fit a brand new Bissell OEM hose. The fastener diameter was loose and sloppy. I didn't get around to wrapping the brush with tape because currently it just falls out of the hose. What a disappointment.

Pros
  • Beautifully Packaged
Cons
  • Faulty

This unit is worth the price, but with our powerful central vacuum it's too easy to stop the brush completely. You must be careful when pointing the brush at objects such as carpets, fabrics and other surfaces, otherwise the brush roll will stop rotating. We almost never use it - had to send it back to TBH. It might be fine for hard surfaces, but that's not what the brushroll is for, is it?

Wrong item on the brushes

Well when I bought Yes Adam I was hoping it would work but it doesn't fit my later number 12 Bissell vacuum which has all the accessories to go with it , other than this or that world It didn't fit my original hose on my vacuum cleaner and when I connected it to the hose and started vacuuming my bedspread the brushes stopped telling me there was a suction problem because my other brush worked well The only problem was that the belt was worn out

Pros
  • Great overall performance

  • Poor set

Does not match picture - bait and switch

Maybe it works fine I don't know. Didn't even connect. The photo in the description shows exactly what I wanted, what I expected. My model number was also listed. But what they sent me didn't match the photo. It's about the same size, with the same hose connector, but it doesn't fit on the vacuum like the original, so it's useless to me. I copied the attached image from another post but mine was the same, just black and gray instead of red. Send back.

Problem NOT solved for brushes

I thought replacing this brush head on my Bissell would bring suction back. That was NOT a solution. Yes, I've done some research to find out which part is the correct one and watched a few troubleshooting videos/cleaning procedures to remove dirt/grime that is reducing suction. This new nozzle has the same low suction power as the one that came with the vacuum cleaner. I suspect this is just natural wear and tear of the machine as the suction was very strong when we first bought the vacuum in…

I can't say these products suck.

This item rotates when you connect it to the vacuum cleaner, but as soon as it touches the surface the brush stops rotating and the suction almost stops because the impeller that drives the brush also stops and presents an obstacle that prevents air flow. I use this on a Bissell vacuum which doesn't mean I don't use it on the product it's intended for. The original turbo brush that came with the vacuum worked great and I hoped it would make a good replacement. I would have returned it but we…

So I was in the same position as some others by mentioning a different product. It's clearly a different shape. Unfortunately the newer one was a bit thinner at the base/mount. It doesn't stay on the hose/rod from the vacuum. I figured I could fix it with something lying around to fill in the gap. I didn't want it to be permanently attached and saw that there was medical tape lying around that I accidentally bought from Revain that same week. I glued as close as possible without overlaps. When…

Possible bait and replacement, be careful!

The product I received does not match the picture in the advert at all. The word Bissell is nowhere to be found on the article. In fact, the brush has no brand name at all. The item shown on the sale listing looks completely different from the item I received. Bait and replacement? Or was the mistake made when the item was shipped from stock? If the product worked as advertised I wouldn't care about the brand but the brush doesn't work at all. The brush spins when you plug it in and turn on the
