What you read in other comments is correct. Although only an inch longer than standard, they do not contain carbide tubing. The shock pipes have two sections of rigid Metal tubing which limits their flexibility. Installing them eliminates those harsh lines even if they are a little longer. This gives more flexibility in terms of the extra stroke required to lift. Don't be afraid to depend on them of their length. Super easy install and nice update. I am also planning to replace the rear ones although they are quite long.
