Simple and woks well for basic use
I needed a way to mount a camera yet still have it be slightly adjustable on occasion, this serves my need perfectly. The magnet is very strong on flat steel. When locking the rotation and tilt the camera can still be moved with little effort so this probably wouldn't work well on an object with any amount of vibration.
