Good idea, poor execution on this model

The mine broke twice within the first hour of operation. First, the knot that connected the rubber cord to the ball broke, so I was able to just tie the knot again. The second time, however, the cable broke so badly that it could no longer be used. The only reason I don't give it a 1 star is because once I managed to get it jumping it gave me a decent exercise. I've been playing tennis for almost ten years, three of those years on a team, so I was very excited to be able to play on my own as I don't have any tennis buddies where I currently live. However, it took me a while to figure out how it works because it doesn't work unless you use bad technique. rather than lengthways to avoid being hit or getting stuck in the net, and (2) hitting the ball very hard and up to make it bounce. If I had scored like that in a normal game, the ball would have been spectacularly wide. But when I hit with the right form, he doesn't bounce back or go too deep to hit. My form suffered as a result. So I wouldn't recommend this for beginners or those who don't get proper guidance as it really damages your technique and it's really difficult to overtrain your muscle memory to repair yourself.
