They work well, but not for very long.

I stumbled upon polishing pads and I love what they do. I use them to remove/smooth out light scratches and scuffs in the paint and they are perfect for removing burn marks in my wood burning projects. They're not abrasive enough to damage the surface, but they can make adjustments. The key is to have a light, firm hand. The downside to these little gems is that they wear out quickly, just like rubber tips, they're only good for a few jobs before they're worn to the ground. It's good to have them on hand, but be prepared to replace them often.

Pros
  • POWERFUL AND CONVENIENT - A small nylon sanding pad and a set of rubber pads are an effective tool for getting a good clean of mounting surfaces without gouging the surface like a scraper sometimes does. Easily repair dents, achieve a smooth, even finish, and adhere to uneven surfaces with minimal smearing, convenient and practical.
Cons
  • Something different
