I bought this shelving set for my office bathroom and am very happy with how it looks. They are painted white in "industrial style". I saw the white paint run down the front of the shelves and realized it didn't go well with the rest of my bathroom so I spray painted the wood portion of the shelves prior to installation. Unscrew the rod, paint the wood with spray paint, and then screw on the metal rod. The husband said they were easy to hang on the wall. An added plus is a towel rail, as well as a metal bar that runs across the front and sides of the shelves - the shelves aren't deep, but thanks to the bar, you can use all the space on the shelf right up to the edge. They hold up well, are beautiful and durable and look great!
