Installation was very easy. The instructions were wrong but I have common sense. The instructions say to use small screws for the shelves and long screws for the towel rail. Shelves arrived very well packaged. The brackets were already attached, so only a towel rail had to be installed. The towel rail is quite light and has small screws for attachment, so it is not suitable for hanging heavy objects. There are no instructions, but everything is intuitive. Mark the spot, drill holes, drive in dowels and screws and hang the shelf. For the installation I needed a pencil, a screwdriver, a spirit level, a drill and a hammer. I bought this shelving set for my office bathroom and am very happy with how it looks. They are painted white in "industrial style". I saw the white paint run down the front of the shelves and realized it didn't go well with the rest of my bathroom so I spray painted the wood portion of the shelves prior to installation. These shelves were just what we needed to tidy up our tiny vanity/sink! I didn't use drywall anchors, but at least one screw for each shelf is in a stud and we don't put super heavy stuff on them, so I'm not too worried.
