I bought this velvet throw with sunbeams in March 2018. I also bought a 2 year protection plan from Square Trade. I am so disappointed! The duvet stopped heating after 5 months of use. And then my nightmare began! I tried to change the duvet. Square Trade cannot replace the duvet as it is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. so i contacted the manufacturer. They wanted me to ship the quilt to their repair depot at MS. but they don't give refund receipt. The blanket is big and heavy. cost me $9.99 for a box and $46 to ship to a Sunbeam repair depot. The blanket cost me $71 and now I have to spend $56 to fix it! why? I'm disappointed! I am a cancer patient! I have a cold during chemo so I need this electric blanket to keep warm. but now I have to return it many days to fix it and spend more money on it! Meanwhile, I have a protection plan that is useless because it doesn't work! That's ridiculous! The next time you buy something from Amazon and the Square Trade logo pops up offering you a protection plan, please read the final prints! it may not be what you think!
