Klein Tools 11061 Self-Adjusting UF and NM-B Cable and Wire Stripper/Knife

UF cables I work with a lot. I seem to work with 10/2, 12/2 and 14/2 UF cable a lot and these strippers take the normally tedious job of stripping the outer jacket off a UF cable and make it easier. It's fairly easy to find strippers that work with 2-wire UF as there are several, but the fact that these Kleins also work with flat 12/3 and 14/3 UF is a huge benefit for the species of work I do. . They even work well for me on old, weathered, hard plastic UF cable jackets that I come across on some jobs. The wire strippers are adjustable and also handle common wire cutting and stripping tasks for single 10-20 AWG solid conductors and 12-22 AWG stranded conductors for termination. The only change I made to these pullers was removing the depth gauge, which just seemed to get in the way and was unnecessary for my needs. It is held in place with a small C-clip and can always be reattached later if needed. Overall I really like these strippers and use them almost daily so I'm glad to have them in my tool basket. They are very similar to Irwin's wire strippers but lack the crimping feature. They have an all-metal head design, but with two captive metal thumbscrews for adjustment and a metal depth stop, as opposed to the plastic depth stop that Irwin uses.

Pros

Cons
