I bought this mainly to inflate mountain bike tires and to keep in my car for emergencies. My previous pump had a screw connection and the threads were stripped making it unusable. It looked like a good replacement for the clamp connector. On the plus side, it's relatively quiet and works. On the other hand, it takes forever to inflate my bike tires. I'm talking about 2 minutes to add half a pound of pressure to a 2.1 x 26 mountain bike tire. I wanted to add some air to ride the pavement and eventually gave up on the 2psi target because I didn't have enough time. This is the slowest pump I've ever had. I checked that the connection to the tire bar was good and that the valve was open.
