Didn’t work right out of the box if the receptacle is full of 500 ml of water and 8-10 drops of essential oil. There is no mist or barely perceptible mist. Watch attached videos and you can see the water bubbling but none or barely perceptible mist. However it worked great if 100 ml or less water is used which tells me that the unit is sold as 500 ml but the motor is not strong enough to create a mist for a quantity over 100 ml. What is the point of getting a large aroma diffuser when you have to keep refilling it like a 100 ml unit? Also at 100 ml the mist is extensive which makes the water vaporize much faster so you have to actually refill this unit faster than a 100ml diffuser. Contacted the seller who asked me to clean it with detergent and even after that it didn’t work. They never contacted me after that which tells me that customer service is lacking. Imagine if one has to ever access their 12 month warranty after the 30 day return timeframe! Will wait for couple of days to have the seller make amends otherwise this is going back!Update: the seller did contact us eventually and agreed to replace the defective item. Will update this review once we get the replacementUpdate 12/08/19: the new unit works flawlessly although the mist is barely perceptible if you fill the container to 500ml. It works fine at 400 ml and lasts for 8 hours! The other con is that it makes a water bubbling sound that lasts for 1-2 hours after the first couple of hours of use and then disappears. We keep it on all night and the bubbling sound along with the beeping sound that occurs when the unit shuts off automatically once the water empties out is loud and will wake you up!
