Review on ๐Ÿ“ท Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens: Ultimate Canon SLR Camera Accessory by Avut Aunpang แ Œ

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturer's assurances, high quality.

If you need such focal lengths as 400mm, then take it and donโ€™t think. The lens draws really well. What I wrote about contrast is more of a nitpick. There are not so many such cases of failures in black to put an end to this glass. For me, it would be better if it was 200-400 and the quality is like 70-200 2.8, that would be a super combination. Who needs 400mm, still uses 200, and 100 is definitely not needed in practice. For 100mm and less, itโ€™s better to have a second carcass with a second good glass (if you donโ€™t want to change the glasses) than supposedly having a universal lens at the expense of quality.

Pros
  • Well, all the advantages are written, 400mm is a very good and useful focal length, the blur is beautiful, an artistic lens.
Cons
  • I am only writing this review because of the shortcomings. No one mentioned contrast. and of course he loses 70-200 2,8 in contrast. I donโ€™t take other glasses, because I donโ€™t have them, but I can compare with 70-200 2.8. In cloudy weather, everything is fine, but in the sun, for whom contrast is very important, like me, photographing shepherd dogs, the black mask on the muzzle can fall into black. I compared portraits taken with both lenses in the sun. There is a significant difference. That's actually all the criticisms. :)
