If you don't have a DVR that will handle these 1000tvl cameras. NO You're not going to have a better picture than your old cameras. I see a lot of people complaining that these cameras aren't any better quality than their old ones. If you have a 420tvl- 620tvl, etc DVR. You're not going to get a better picture than your old cameras. You need to upgrade your DVR to at least a 960h before you'll get a high quality picture with these cameras. These cameras are easily equal to 720p if they are hooked up to the proper DVR.
- Remarks: Please note that this item is 1/4 CMOS chips match with 2.8mm lens, the angle is 75.6°. it's near 1/3 inch chips with 3.6 mm, narrower than 1/3 chips with 2.8mm lens. You can see details from our product images.
