Giving 5 stars because Amazon's rating system is inflated. Compared to my favorite bar tape I would give it 4 stars. This tape is very strong and I couldn't even break it on purpose. Except for the transition point between the colors, which I accidentally ripped out after too much trouble (that was my first time taping a steering wheel). But that only applies to the two-tone color (not just the accent color). The color transition is right where most of the switches are. So be careful not to over-tighten with your figure-of-eight wrapping technique or whatever technique you prefer. The decorative ribbon that comes with it is very pretty and goes with the rest of the design. And the connectors do not EXACTLY match the color of the ribbon. But it's picky. Another tip: use a darker color where you hold the wheel the most. Light colors get dirty easily with regular use, and aggressive scrubbing will also remove some of the color. The tape isn't as soft as foam tape, but the rubber makes it easier to grip. I have been using this tape for 2 years and have ridden it over 2000 km. It was still good but worn out. If you like a very clean bike, you probably want to replace it before 1500km.
