I fitted it and we were so glad the back door was working again but after about 2 hours my wife calls and says the door won't open. I was so pissed that today, a few months later, I finally got around to taking it apart and the cable broke off. I thought that would fix the problem but it didn't help, the cord had already stretched after a few hours of use so I added some fishing weights, the kind that opens and now you can barely open the door with two hands and all your strength. . I've now broken down and paid $280 for the original handle and lock actuator. And it's too late for a refund, so do yourself a favor and buy the original!
