The transmission takes a few minutes and then stops. I turn it off and type it a few times and it works again. I suspect it has bad soldering and loose components. But it's also a thin choice for this sort of thing. When it works, it works very well in our small living room. If it works of course. (Update) You read my review and contacted me to send me a replacement. The new one is here and works better. You can tell there are four IR LEDs and the old one only worked with three for a while. I think this is where the loose solder joints are. When replaced, all four IR LEDs will illuminate normally. The sound is just as good and works up to 15 feet with line of sight.
