Makita vs. Dewalt good for electric drill parts and accessories

Really good but short lived. I install shutters and windows and have a Makita SDS drill bit so I tried these as a 3 cutter tip but barely got 50 holes. Dewalt lasts longer but can't find 4 cutting edges in Revain.
