Just spent a week in Maui snorkeling every day. It was typical Maui weather; warm and muggy. Water temps were around 80 to 82 degrees.Lots of people were snorkeling without neoprene tops, but I guarantee that my husband and I were probably the most comfortable. He had short sleeves and I had long. I was a little worried that I would overheat, but that was not the case. We were both so happy to be able to stay in the water for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, and only came out because we were physically tire.As for size, I found it useful to check other review that gave actual measurements, so here I go.5 foot 2, 140 lbs. I got a 14 which fit well, but I did find that it was a little long in the body. This didn't really bother me. It was snug, but not uncomfortable. It did seem to loosen up when wet. Perhaps I could have gotten away with a 12, but this worked really well
