If you're expecting a professional dehydrator, you'll probably be disappointed. Considering that for the price and what it is, it works pretty well. There's dual temperature that works side-by-side, a timer so you don't forget to turn it off, and a fairly accurate temperature sensor to keep the temperature consistent. This is a far cry from the days of the Ronco version I originally owned (and continued to use until I bought this one) in the 80's. Overall I am very satisfied with this machine and I can say that if you are not looking for a professional version you will be very satisfied. The trays are a little bulky in the way they fit in, but that's a pretty minor issue in my opinion. I only mention this because some people might not like it.
