I can't fully rate the durability of the product, but the flexibility and thin appearance of the plastic seem to indicate that it will have a fairly limited lifespan, especially with prolonged use. Don't get me wrong, I think this is a solid product for its type of use. For long-term storage or protection from water, hard plastic/material with air/watertight seal provides appropriate measures. A container like this would be compromised by normal wear and tear and improper handling. Inspection of the packaging did not reveal any flaws or defects. However, I wonder how the plastic will hold up with repeated use and the resulting stress points around the handle. Again, be selective as the purpose of this product is the transitory aspect, with the convenience of being able to fold it into a compact form. The tightness of the thick plastic case is solid and looks more than high quality. Overall, this is a more than trustworthy water storage product. A problem directly related to the bending/folding aspect is the problem of cleaning the inside of the bag. Proper bag cleaning is difficult when used for anything other than simply filtered water. And even with filtered water, you will eventually need to clean the bag. Yes, you can put dishwashing liquid or liquid soap in it, shake with water and rinse until clean. However, my experience is that it is almost impossible to clean crumpled edges/corners by simply shaking/washing with soap and water. For the intended service, this bag performs very well. The lid sits quite tight even without the silicone disc. To make it safer you can find and add a food grade washer/gasket to really provide extra waterproofing. But that would be an exaggeration. Because the container body is not rigid, pouring is not the easiest of maneuvers. The best way to do this is to hold the handle while using your other hand to grab the bottom corner and tilt it. Otherwise it makes more sense to use it as transport and intermediate storage, pumping the water/liquid from the source to a larger rigid container with spigots at the bottom for easy dosing. But maybe for quick, temporary use, such as B. during a long car journey and if you want to have less than 2 liters of water or drinks in the car, this is ideal. . The product is well designed with very good production. However, it seems a bit expensive. It corresponds to the properties of the product and fulfills its purpose/function.
