You get what you pay for. This is my third pair of these socks and they are in good condition having been washed and worn for 6 months. I hate socks that lose their elasticity and fall off, they still hold up. They are a bit more expensive but last longer than any of my other socks. I think that's why a lot of people like them. I only bought them after reading the reviews.
- Sock has a thin and light base with padding only where needed
