I have a monitor rail mounted on my wall that cannot be adjusted vertically (only horizontally). When I bought a larger monitor (Acer XF270HU ABMIIDPRZX) it was too low (almost touching the top of my desk). My only option (besides using this product) would be to unscrew the mount, move it up, reattach it (fix the drywall holes) and hope the monitor is where I want it to be. This product saved me a lot of work! Since the VIVO plate mounts flat and my monitor's VESA mount is recessed, I used the washers and stand combination from the monitor/TV mount kit to align everything for the flush mount. Bracket VIVO. Rarely is one so satisfied with a purchase.
