These are sample sized containers and while you can get multiple squirts from each of them you can't work directly from the containers (not really a problem, just know their size beforehand.) I use my finger to remove quite a bit, rub it into the bottom of the shaving mug, and then lather it up. Each strain seems to foam differently, but it's a great way to sample the full range of flavors without going overboard. There are many fragrance families here and you'll likely find at least one that you don't like, but generally I haven't found any that I haven't used - just a few that I like more than others. Once they run out I plan to get a few of these in large containers.
