With proper use and care these cables will last a long time. The only issue I see is that the micro USB connector is a bit narrower than the Samsung cable. If you put your phone away and let it charge, you'll have no problem. However, if you continue to use your phone while it's charging and want to constantly move your phone or cable, the narrower-width plug will wobble a bit inside your phone and over the course of several months will eventually pull out your phone's charging jack. Then you will find it difficult to charge your phone. My advice is to use these cables for overnight charging, but stick with the factory cable if you use your phone extensively while charging.
