Really? The size of this bucket is good and big. I'm not even against plastic - I'm for utility, not whimsical and brilliance. But every time I lift the lid, it falls off. What a problem! I thought it was broken but no! The lid is arranged in such a way that it does not hold. I bought this because I like the idea of NOT removing the lid and finding a place for it while I get the ice cube. Now when I open it I have to find a place for the lid and THEN put it back on to close it! she goes back This flip cover belies its convenience. I do not recommend.
