I bought this specifically to plug my power strip into it. My current power strip powers my laptop and multiple monitors. But the current extension plugs into the wall and blocks my desk drawer from opening. This extension fits my needs perfectly as it doesn't protrude far enough to block my desk drawer. But when I plug my current power strip into this strip, my monitors start turning off and on again. I've had this problem before and found that the laptop's power supply isn't stable enough to send a signal to all the monitors. At least that's how I interpreted what I read. However, if I plug my current power strip directly into the wall, all of my monitors work. So there must be some power reduction when I use this extension between the wall and my current extension. Too bad, I like this new strip. I'll play around with it some more. If I find out anything I will update this review.
