Love the size and convenience of a counter like this in a travel tool bag. I will try again as I was very disappointed with this counter. When I received it it was dead on arrival (DOA). I suspect it was the battery, there are no instructions on how to change the battery. After carefully trying to find a spot for a battery, or a door, or a peep-point, or any clue as to how to open the device, I broke it, yes I broke the damn thing. Very frustrated that with reasonable intelligence and slightly above average mechanical and electrical skills I broke a new meter trying to change the battery. Yes, I'm dumb enough to READ the instructions. Not available for this device when the battery is replaced. Well if the battery is a lifetime device and you throw away the meter when the battery dies. My apologies to the manufacturer for the complaint of being unable to open an unopenable block. However, the meter did not work immediately! Value for money NO! Like the block wouldn't work. I wanted a meter, not a wired paperweight. I think I could use the probes as a replacement for the Operation game that broke 5 years ago, but I couldn't throw it away. . Because it doesn't work, it's more like carrying a dead mouse in your pocket. Well, it doesn't smell like a dead mouse.
