I'm so surprised it works so well for me. I've been using ours for a few weeks and I love it. We travel a lot and hooked up this unit to my truck with a regular truck inverter, changed it to 100ft and parked it in the parking lot. When he hears the beep, he realizes he's gone too far. Perfect size device. We take it to a friend's house, plug it in and run it, we take it to a bar, plug it in and run it. The only thing I would have liked differently is that I don't have to turn it off when I'm driving. We live in the forest and many friends bought the same machine. This way we can take our dogs to each other's houses without fear that all the dogs will run away into the woods or along the roads. Sometimes we had up to 8 dogs using the device at the same time. Our dog walks, but not now that we have this device. When we first got him we took him through the marked area to show him where to go. Of course, when we first let go of him, he ran away, but the sound startled him. And never broke down again. All in all, I highly recommend this device. It changed our dog's life. He's such a happy off-leash dog. When I take him out of his zone, I tell him to stay close and he won't push his limits without me.
