I recently purchased this tube adapter after borrowing an X-Port adapter. Saris makes the best product. Both were safe, but the Saris Bike Beam top tube adapter makes it easy to safely and securely mount the adapter in an alternative way that allows extra clearance for my bike. I have an Electra Townie (female) and this adapter is needed to attach any female bike to any standard truck rack. These bikes are big and heavy! We also have the Saris Bones-3 and Hatch Huggers. Overall a great facility! The lifetime warranty is good too. I wrote this review myself, without any compensation.
