High quality workmanship, easy to use. Glad I found this!

Amazing find and really good product. Very well made, durable yet easy to use. Confidence that the handlebars will support the bike and not fall apart like the previous generation of Saris handlebars seem to have done (according to online reviews) is very high. I DEFINITELY recommend it. I have a two Kuat bike rack on a trailer hitch. My Cannondale and Marin bikes fit well in this rack but my wife's Ghost bike does not. With the Saris adapter I can park her bike and each of mine and we can…

Installed reliably and works well

Used to transport my daughter's bike 600 miles to and from college and it worked great. It was a great price compared to Yakima or similar bars when I bought it in July 2019 ($33 at the time). I'm surprised how much more expensive it is now. I saw some fit and sizing questions so I took the attached photos with a ruler next to them. It is shown fully extended. The next shows it in its shortest form. The latter shows the inner dimension of the smallest length. It doesn't lock at any length, but…

Stable and safe: cycling

I recently purchased this tube adapter after borrowing an X-Port adapter. Saris makes the best product. Both were safe, but the Saris Bike Beam top tube adapter makes it easy to safely and securely mount the adapter in an alternative way that allows extra clearance for my bike. I have an Electra Townie (female) and this adapter is needed to attach any female bike to any standard truck rack. These bikes are big and heavy! We also have the Saris Bones-3 and Hatch Huggers. Overall a great…

Bicycle Top Tube - Saris

These units, like the Tyger and Venzo, tend to be expensive in my opinion. However, if you are traveling with several bikes, Tyger or SARIS are very durable. I have (3) SARIS as I traded the Venzo for another SARIS before going on holiday with (4) bikes in the back of our car. I wish they were a little smaller in diameter as trying to attach them to a Yakima bike rack is a bit tight. Of the (3) different models I've had, they all have the same tube diameter. I'm sure they can be made smaller in

Main design flaws: Luggage rack

I can say that this product serves its purpose, but I have some serious complaints about the design of the product.1. It's too easy to accidentally press the hook release button when it's on the bike rack. Although unlikely to be fully released, I still think it's poor design.2. The shape of the hook lock is causing problems with my Thule bike rack. This problem causes the bar to bounce off the rubber mounts. This is a BIG problem when driving a lot of miles.3. This product WILL NOT FIT the…

Poorly designed bike racks and bags

It consists of two different diameter steel tubes that "slide out" together as an extendable block/carrier. It stretches slightly but is not fixed in length. It extends from the seat post to the handlebars and is supported by two support arms. It loses its straightness when it flexes 1/4 and a few degrees in the center plastic collar due to the weight of the bike at the ends and support arms in 3/4 positions of its extended length. . This creates the uncomfortable feeling that the two steel…
