Used to transport my daughter's bike 600 miles to and from college and it worked great. It was a great price compared to Yakima or similar bars when I bought it in July 2019 ($33 at the time). I'm surprised how much more expensive it is now. I saw some fit and sizing questions so I took the attached photos with a ruler next to them. It is shown fully extended. The next shows it in its shortest form. The latter shows the inner dimension of the smallest length. It doesn't lock at any length, but you still secure it with the included strap and bungee.
