I use this scale every day for baking and it is a dream to use and clean. The tare function is very simple and easy to use and I rely on it. I don't use the volume measurement feature because it seems like it takes too much time and effort to figure it out. Just two minor downsides: (1) it shuts off quickly so I try to remember the weights just in case, and (2) it doesn't seem accurate in the 1-3 gram range. So I'm not sure if I should add baking powder, salt or spices, but at this level it won't mess up the recipe. Nonetheless. My previous Escali scale felt like it lasted forever before it ran out. I like this model better than the bottom one, which I gave to a novice baker (and immediately regretted it when my other Escali broke and I had to run to Walmart to buy a replacement right away). It's a reliable workhorse that I'm happy with. have in my kitchen. It's worth every penny compared to cheaper models. I don't use a cord because I like to move it between counters.
