Review on Optimized for SEO: Kohler GP77886 K-GP77886 Faucet Valves by Russell Roberson

Dripper not installed

This valve has four dripper positions (eight if you count hot/cold, nine if you count the main seal, but dripping from the faucet, not because the faucet doesn't close like the others)1 • Shut-off seals. This is an enlarged version of the triangular spring and rubber cap. It is in this part. Unfortunately, the spring and rubber cap are not available separately.2 • Seals between shut-off valve and pressure compensator (open for water inlet). These are the O-rings that come with this part.3 • Gaskets between pressure compensator and housing (waterproof). These are O-rings and are not supplied.4 • Gaskets between the deadweight compensator halves (open to water inlet). The pressure compensator is screwed on and is not included. I called Kohler and told them the valve wouldn't close completely. Kohler told me to buy this part. After installation, the valve dripped more than ever. I have to admit that having repaired many valves this is actually not difficult but it is not cheap and if it is important to you that the dripper is actually repaired then you should buy both this part and a pressure balancer.
