Review on 🚪 Camp'N - RV Screen Door Latch- Right Hand Handle for RV, Trailer, Camper, Motor Home, Cargo Trailer - OEM Replacement (RH) by Sean Xayamonty

The original latch broke and I was trapped in my camper van lol. I had to reach behind the door, camera in hand, to take a picture of the latch to see if I could somehow open it without damaging the door. I saw the screws that held the latch to the door. Luckily I had a screwdriver in my van and was able to easily remove the broken latch. I could also use a kitchen knife to slide the latch back to open the door, but I didn't want to slide it into the tight space along the edge of the door frame. Luckily I was able to find the exact bar on the Revain which was delivered the next day. It's hot in here and I have to leave the outside door open to let the air circulate in here, but I have to keep the screen door closed to keep my cat and flying bugs out. I used a short bungee cord to hold the door closed until a replacement deadbolt arrived. All of these fasteners have a weak point on the handle that eventually breaks with repeated use. Instead of ordering extra next time, I think I'll replace the whole (plastic) screen door with an aluminum version when I get home. I never liked those flimsy plastic screen doors. The screen door in the aluminum version will also be stronger to keep out raccoons who might want to snag my cat for dinner.
