I bought this headlamp to replace my "old trusty" headlamp that I had for years. At first I was hesitant to buy a headlamp for fear it would be useless, but I didn't have much time to research as I needed it for my job as a courier. I can say I was amazed at how bright the white light is. I accidentally turned it on after putting the battery cover back on and it nearly blinded me! The night vision is great too, I can find things in my cockpit without flooding the cockpit with white light. The button is easy. Press once for white light, press again for night vision, and again to turn it off. (My previous flashlight had a slide switch that was sometimes awkward to operate when wearing gloves). As for the cons, it's a "fixed" light, so I had to tilt my head to aim the beam down (my previous light could tilt away from my body). That's all. This is a good product (batteries included) at a good price.
