If you have a PASGT or MICH style helmet with the ear guard portions specifically.This is a pain the rear to apply. It DOES work but you do have to be forceful with it, things do not line up properly, but you can accomplish it. You do have to get additional parts from a hardware store to complete it. What I used were 4 M4-0.70 x 25mm machine screws with a decent size head on them. I got the 25mm size.but I definitely recommend shorter than that, they do protrude a bit. 15-20 MAX. If you want to "measure twice, cut once" unlike I did, don't forget the width of the helmet, the width of the mounts, as well as if you have the 4 point chin straps inside. Those mm's can pile up quick.Side Note: If you do have a PASGT or a MICH with the ear protection sections.mounting headsets and stuff like that which must go between the head and the helmet are darn near impossible. Fit between your ear and the helmet is great usually but rail to head, there are no arms that really exist that bend that way haha. These rails will be great for things like tac lights, cameras, or other accessories but don't expect them to do well for comms.
